Its kind of like meccano..

re-assembly of some main components commenced this weekend. As a nice new pair of front springs arrived, it seemed an appropriate place to start..
(bad picture) but these are the new springs

new springs assembled in to lower tubes

upper tube and seals fitted

Both tubes and the top and bottom yoke 'loosely' assembled.

Complete. Fully assembled (and tightened) front fork setup, with top tube guards installed.

now that was out of the way, i looked at re assembling the prop shaft universal joint, as a new 2 way pivot had arrived. no proper pics, as it was a bit of a bastard to put back together. I also finished the rear shocks assembly. and popped them on to the rear wing arm for now...
as new shocks

there's the prop shaft and its universal joint.
The main bike frame was next on the list.
in progress

all cleaned

all clean again

and nice and painted,

mm shiny (only because its still wet. - it will become mat black when cured)

and a random close up
i also had some time to get together all the components for the handle bars..

i also painted the side car fender its final coat of color. forgot to take pics though. but i can assure you it looks nice.

EDIT:: i took some pics now, and here they are.

Smooth Finish - With front side light installed

from a different angle. but you know that already.

There is now officially more bike inside the house than outside. Once the frame paint is cured, all this lot will be back outside, and works will start on the sidecar boat and engine.
