Bits and Bobs..
Its got to a stage where i cannot progress any further with the front forks, rear shocks or wheel rebuilding, as I'm waiting on parts to be shipped..
Right..
Better take some more stuff apart then...
there's not much left now..
i hadnt got that dirty removing all this stuff, so i felt i needed to do some grinding/sanding.
I also looked at cleaning up the bottom yoke and its associated bearings, forgot to take some 'before pics, so here's some after ones..
Some more cleaned parts..
And now on the the first bit of proper mechanics i guess..

This is all the other stuff i actually removed. (rear swing arm, horn, front head stock pivot and bottom yoke, rear brake pedal assembly, and 2 clips from the sidecar boat.) |
rear swing arm |
cleaned |

All the crap rubber bits off the rear swing arm, and the main drive coupling. Some new ones are needed i think. |

Bottom yoke with pivot spindle and bearings |
'steering' assembly complete - all i need now are the completed front forks, front wheel, handle bars and a painted bike frame.. |
while i was doing the headstock bearings i also cleaned up the front wheels bearing set.. |
As new, painted cardan (prop) shaft |
Painted, reassembled horn |
And now on the the first bit of proper mechanics i guess..
Final Drive assembly |
Final drive innards |
the gear looks amazing. no wear at all.. |
same for the inside. I did wonder where all the oil that was supposed to be inside was though |
