Some time has passed
It has been some time since the last post, and some time since work continued on the bike. It was sent of to be safely stored while traveling around Asia for an extended period of time.
I now i am back, and have the bike back, its sunny weather outside, and work has started again.
Generally, after storage, i started it up to give a good blast out of any old petrol still sitting in the heads and give it a warm up. Spent a while tinkering with the carbs, managed to achieve a point, where everything seems to be working nicely, good response time, mix, and idle. Ill need to test the top end response on the road i think though, but should be good enough for now..
Now its mostly electrical tinkering to get done. I want to install indicators, so ill have to integrate them into the original wiring. Also set up the rear brake switch, and install a seat-belt to the side car, and a few other minor bits and pieces such (mostly generator oriented as i recently replaced it) polorising the generator, connecting it to the electic system, checking the charge output, etc..
The general aim is, in 3 weeks (or 3 weekends time to be precise) is to have everything ready for MOT testing...
