New bits..
its not really Christmas or birthday, but feels like it.
i got a bunch of items in the post that made me as happy...
the replacement rear brake pin! (that i lost on the floor somewhere) and some other new components for the brakes. - ironically, i get the feeling that as soon as i install the new rear brake pin, ill find the old one.. these things always happen!
i also got a upgrade for my 'less than useless' front brake - swapped over to the double cam setup, many folks say its worth doing as the stopping power is much more effective than the older single cam (makes sense). i aim to tune it so i can lock the front wheel (i know - slightly ambitious for a dnepr of this age...but we shall see!!) - it hasn't arrived yet but it will in the next few days or so.
now i can FINALLY finish this bike up and go riding...
